Belle and Abby are working to make memories at a young age while a genetic disorder aims to steal them. Belle is just six-years-old and has an important job of being Abby’s big sister who is 21 months.
This year Belle was diagnosed with Niemann Pick Type C-1. Not long after that, Abby was tested. She is a-symptomatic at this point.
It’s a genetic disorder that only 500 children in the world have. Their parents are determined to do whatever it takes to save their little girls. According to an update on the family’s GoFundMe page they leave for Chicago next week for the girls’ first treatment.
